ABOUT TRUCKERFETCH

Put a source behind your next conversation.

TruckerFetch is an independent carrier research product for teams that serve the U.S. trucking industry. We are building a workspace that brings dated public records, carrier observations and working lists together, so a useful business conversation can start with a clear record.

OUR PURPOSE

Less time rebuilding the same carrier list

A dispatcher, a factoring team and an insurance producer may research the same company for different reasons. Each still needs to establish which carrier they are looking at, where a fact came from and how recently it was observed. A company name without an identifier, or a date without an explanation, leaves too much room for a mistaken match.

Our approach starts with carrier identity. The USDOT number connects a profile to its published observations. Search, saved lists and exports then give that research a practical destination. The aim is a repeatable workflow: select a relevant group, examine the evidence, save the carriers that fit and carry the permitted fields into your own process.

PRODUCT PRINCIPLES

Useful records need context

01 / IDENTITY

Keep the carrier recognizable

Names can change and different businesses can share a contact channel. A list should preserve each carrier’s USDOT identity, rather than treating a phone number or a similar company name as proof that two records describe the same business.

02 / TIMING

Explain what a date describes

A source update, our first observation and an event’s effective date answer different questions. We keep those meanings separate. A newly observed record is a research opportunity; it is not proof that the business itself began that day.

03 / EVIDENCE

Leave room for an unknown

Missing contact information stays missing. A reported officer does not automatically become a verified owner. Insurance research distinguishes a documented filing from an estimated anniversary. Clear limits make a record easier to use responsibly.

A workspace built around the next useful step

  1. Discover a dated group

Start with an edition or a carrier search. Check its source coverage before interpreting the count. The planned daily edition cutoff is 8 a.m. Eastern and depends on data that has passed validation.

  2. Review the profile

Compare reported location, classification and fleet fields with the needs of your team. Look at separately dated authority or insurance evidence when that context matters to the conversation.

  3. Create a working list

Save selected carriers, revisit a search or set a watchlist. Keep the research context close to the carrier instead of passing an unexplained spreadsheet from one person to another.

  4. Choose how to work

Starter is designed for dashboard and CSV workflows. Pro adds scoped REST access, hosted MCP and signed webhooks, alongside insurance research that has passed its own validation requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Is TruckerFetch part of FMCSA?

No. TruckerFetch is an independent product. Public source attribution explains where a record originated; it does not imply agency sponsorship, endorsement or a government service relationship.

Who is the product designed for?

Our initial workflows support dispatchers, factoring teams and insurance producers. The shared purpose is carrier research and organized follow-up, with your team responsible for evaluating the intended use.

Can a carrier ask us to review a record?

Yes. Use the correction and removal form to identify the USDOT number and the affected field or contact channel. Our review applies to TruckerFetch; a government source record has a separate correction process.

Inspect the approach before you choose a plan

Start with the sample to see the record format, then read the methodology to understand how observations become an edition. If you are evaluating an integration or have a question about coverage, tell us the workflow you need to support.
