TRUCKERFETCH

Data sources and methodology

Carrier identity, source evidence and clear access boundaries.

Independent carrier records

TruckerFetch uses FMCSA Company Census observations to organize carrier identities, business contact fields and equipment. Carrier records are joined by normalized USDOT number. Source and observation dates accompany published data.

How a daily list is formed

The first successful Census import establishes a baseline. A later first observation can enter a dated edition when the carrier is based in the 50 states or DC and has a usable reported contact. Private and for-hire classifications may overlap.

The daily cutoff is 8 a.m. America/New_York. An edition uses source releases ready by that cutoff. Source delays and a validated edition with zero eligible additions have distinct states.

Authority and insurance

Operating-authority observations and insurance filings use separate evidence. Several filings may belong to one carrier. An effective date or filing anniversary alone does not prove a policy expiration. Unresolved matches stay unknown.
